– Be Prepared: Learn Life-Saving Skills for Infants and Children
Our Baby and Child First Aid Course is designed for English-speaking parents, expectant mothers, grandparents, and caregivers. In this approximately four-hour session, you’ll learn how to handle common emergencies involving infants and young children. The course combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice using realistic models.
In addition, there are many valuable tips in this first aid course, on how to prevent the above mentioned emergencies so that in case of an emergency you don’t lose valuable time by panicking or overthinking, but can help directly.
What You’ll Learn in the Baby and Child First Aid course:
Participants will gain skills and confidence to manage the following situations:
- Basics of First Aid
- Emergency check
- Stable lateral position
- Resuscitation
- Seizure (focus on febrile seizure)
- Sunstroke & heat stroke
- Swallowing
- Poisoning
- Allergic reaction
- Vigorous bleeding
- Foreign body in wound
- Animal bite
- Burns
- General accident prevention

Courses are typically held on Friday evenings or Saturdays. New parents are welcome to bring their babies along.This course is ideal for:
