Baby & Child First Aid Course

In an approximately four-hour Baby & Child First Aid Course, the most important infant and
child emergencies are discussed in theory and practised on a model.

In addition, there are many valuable tips in this first aid course, on how to prevent the above mentioned emergencies so that in case of an emergency you don’t lose valuable time by panicking or overthinking, but can help directly.

The following scenarios are covered in the Baby & Child First Aid course:

  • Basics of First Aid
  • Emergency check
  • Stable lateral position
  • Resuscitation
  • Seizure (focus on febrile seizure)
  • Sunstroke & heat stroke
  • Swallowing
  • Poisoning
  • Allergic reaction
  • Vigorous bleeding
  • Foreign body in wound
  • Animal bite
  • Burns
  • General accident prevention

Who is the Baby & Children First Aid course for?

The course always takes place on Friday evenings or Saturdays and can be attended by
parents, pregnant women or grandparents – all those who will be caring
for the child are welcome to attend the workshop.

For your information:

  • You have the option to attend our courses on-site AND/OR attend live
    and interactively from home. If you choose the online option, please
    write in the comments section of the registration form. We recommend to attend the course on site.
  • New parents can also bring their baby.
